Update for April 2015

Hi Internet!

So my plans for April is basically just to work on a new Gundam model that surprisingly came in the mail the day after I finished the Unicorn Gundam.

This is going to take the most time because its a Master Grade model (MY FIRST MASTER GRADE 1/100 scale!) and it will be a surprise what its going to be.  Lets just say it has katanas for weapons... :]

I already cut out all the pieces from the trays and organized them into these 1/2 pint jars and labeled them.  I'm taking a few jars at a time back to school where I will polish each piece up and sand them to be as clean as possible (cutting them out of the trays leaves a lot of crap jutting out that needs to be cleaned up to be put together right).

Very excited but will probably take a break from Gundam models after this one till the summer because they cost so dang much...(and I forgot, time consuming).

RX-0 Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode] HG

Hi Friends!

I had time this Spring break to build this super fun model and I absolutely love the clear red in between the white armor chassis. The picture definitely doesn't do it justice.
The model kit also came with a 1/144 base to hold up the Gundam model in a cool mid-flight pose.

Sadly I only took this one picture before heading back to school for the spring term.

Here's the link for this exact Gundam model and its only about $20(usd):

Monkey Amigurumi! or Crochet

I crocheted this amigurumi monkey for my mom's birthday present and another for a family friend.  I used brown yarn for all of the body and white felt pieces cut out for the face, chest, and the inner ear. Eyes are large sized black eyelets found at any craft/hobby store.  Finally, pink felt for the blush on the cheeks and black for the nose.  There is also a banana pin in her hair (head) which is made of yellow yarn and sewed on.  This was a very fun project to do and also very time consuming to finish one little guy.  More posts to come! I really need to work on this website tech stuff more too.

Gundam

This tab will be dedicated to Gundams which I am starting to get into after buying two boxes last winter.  Building them is such a tedious job but it's worth it in the end to see your finished model.  I did not take pictures of the procedure of building one but in the future that might be an idea for a post.

These are examples of the box covers and I love collecting the boxes too <3

The Blue Angry Bird o-o

I made this angry bird just for fun but sadly did not get to take a picture
of the red angry bird I made as a gift for someone.

GingerBread House Challenge!

These are pictures from a friendly competition we had at our church where each group was given certain materials to decorate their gingerbread house.

These were such a long time ago but I wanted to post them because it was such a great time, just trying to be creative and pushing yourself.

Orange Mushroom from Maplestory

Sorry for the terrible picture...but I loved the game Maplestory so I had to make one.

This is the comparison...I only had this bright orange yarn at that time :/ I think it's still cute.
